About the Role
As a key member of the Student Recruitment team, you will play an integral role in driving student enrolments and supporting prospective students throughout their admissions journey.
You will be responsible for engaging with prospective students across the UAE and international markets, providing accurate programme information, and guiding applicants from initial enquiry through to enrolment. This role also involves representing the university at recruitment events, working closely with marketing teams, and contributing to the overall growth of student numbers.
Your work will directly support the university’s commitment to delivering a professional, responsive, and student-focused recruitment experience.
Key Responsibilities Student Recruitment & Engagement
- Drive student recruitment across UAE and international markets
- Engage with prospective students through phone, email, WhatsApp, and in-person meetings
- Represent the university at exhibitions, fairs, school visits, and outreach events
- Build relationships with schools, agents, and corporate partners
Admissions Support
- Manage enquiries and guide students through the application and enrolment process
- Conduct timely follow-ups to improve conversion rates
- Provide accurate information on programmes, entry requirements, and career pathways
- Maintain strong communication with prospective students and stakeholders
Student Experience & Counselling
- Provide initial academic and career counselling for prospective students.
- Support onboarding processes, induction events, and student engagement activities.
- Help create a supportive and inclusive environment for students transitioning from South Asian educational backgrounds.
Operational & Administrative Support
- Support the operational needs of the Student Recruitment & Experience Office.
- Prepare weekly reports, manage data logs, and support KPI tracking.
- Assist in planning and delivering faculty-led workshops, webinars, and community-focused events.
- Work closely with marketing teams to generate and convert qualified leads
- Support campaigns, events, and recruitment initiatives
- Contribute insights from student interactions to improve marketing effectiveness
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking professionals who can demonstrate:
- Proven experience in student recruitment within UK/British universities or education sector
- Strong understanding of the UK higher education system and admissions processes
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with international students and education agents
- Ability to work in a target-driven, fast-paced environment
- Experience in building corporate partnerships is an added advantage
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A proactive and results-oriented mindset
